Central Queensland cavers have invited Chillagoe Caving Club down south to check out their epic caves at Mount Etna over Easter long weekend. 

The town is called The Caves, and is 11.5 hours drive from Cairns. If you don't want to drive from FNQ, the other option is to fly to Mackay or Rockhampton and drive from there (3.5 hours from Mackay and half and hour from Rockhampton).

We can camp at The Caves Pony Club, which has two toilets, an outdoor covered kitchen, a BBQ and a fridge. A makeshift camping shower will be installed by the Central Queensland crew 🙏🙏.

There is also other accommodation available nearby, such as cabins at Capricorn Caves. Feel free to search around and book your own if you don't want to camp.
